BE A ZOMBIE: Night of the Living Dead Live (September 2011)

I have exciting news about an upcoming stage adaptation of Night of the Living Dead that will be happening this summer in Hamilton, Ontario: the home of The Zed Word: Zombie Blog. And you can get involved!

This September, Nictophobia Films is mounting a theater production of Night of the Living Dead at The Citadel (28 Rebecca St.) that they promise will "bring the 1968 horror classic to the stage like you've never seen before!"

You can get involved: Nictophobia films is currently seeking volunteers in various positions as background zombies, stagehands, prop-makers, ushers, etc.

If you want to lend a hand or other severed limb to this exciting project, email Nictophobia at nightofthelivingdeadlive@nictophobiafilms.com

Tell them you heard about the show on The Zed Word: Zombie Blog!

The Zed Word will be following the production closely. Also keep your eye on Nictophobiafilms.com for further updates.

Phil Pattison of Nictophobia Films is also one of the directors behind the campy Canadian zombie film Vs. The Dead. You can READ MY REVIEW of the film which we screened in 2009 as part of Horror in the Hammer's "Night of the Independents" installment of Fright Night Theatre.
